hannah & ben | big sur, CA

As very busy and committed graduate students at the rigorous University of California Berkeley, Hannah and Ben had little-to-no time to focus on wedding planning. Together they loved spending time at the beach and in the forest, as well as the work of Japanese artist Chiura Obata. We used their admiration for nature, and the stunning coastline location for Ventana Big Sur, as our inspiration for the design. Hannah and Ben trusted us and our team of incredible California-based vendors to bring their vision to life. The end result felt not only beautiful and meaningful, but also approachable, comfortable, and like an honest reflection of their passions and unique personal aesthetic as a couple.
