Laura and Galen, a Houston-based couple, wanted their "Welcome to Carmel" event to be one that none of their guests would ever forget. We secured this stunning 180 foot pier in the beautiful and tranquil Stillwater Cove at Pebble Beach Resort for a fun alternative to your traditional venue. We decked the pier out with nautical and coastal inspired furniture, lounges and decor. A yacht rock band from Los Angeles was flown in to provide ambiance. Appropriately dressed guests dined on freshly shucked oysters, shrimp cocktail, Southern fried chicken with coleslaw and made-to-order funnel cakes. As the evening drew to a close, the sun set over the waterline in the distance and the sky bloomed with watercolor hues of burnt orange and fiery fuchsia and pink.
