McEvoy Ranch has always been a brand that clients with discerning taste have recognized and cherished. The Ranch produces extremely high-quality olive oil, which is sold to some of the top chefs and restaurants around the world. Olive oil, bath products and flowers (also produced at the Ranch) are sold at their beautiful San Francisco Ferry Building boutique, as well as at select retail stores around the country. While the brand has always enjoyed relevance and notoriety within the high-end retail and food and beverage markets, not many knew they held private events on their beautiful 300-acre ranch in Petaluma, California.

The sprawling property needed to be divided into distinct event spaces, so that prospective clients could visit the property, look at the different spaces and imagine their unique corporate event or wedding in one of the different environments. Often the problem with having too many undefined options is that non-visual clients can have a difficult time envisioning their unique event. We guided McEvoy Ranch to determine pricing for each defined area, set venue policies for each area and write venue-usage agreements, select and vet preferred vendors, organize event insurance, and assist with permits and logistics for each area operating as an event venue.

Once the areas were well defined and policies were in place, Alison Events coordinated a three-day photo shoot to give clients a glimpse into how each unique space could be utilized for a wide range of events. Alison Events styled all the areas usable for events. Working with top wedding and media photographer Thayer Gowdy and internationally acclaimed floral designer Natalie Bowen Design, the beauty was easy to come by. The images were featured on a highly respected event blog and online magazine, as well as greatly publicized on several social media outlets for months after the photo shoot was published. The venue is now managed by a high-profile, full-service catering company and booking high-end weddings and corporate events regularly. The Ranch now utilizes the images Alison Events designed and produced for social media accounts, digital and print marketing collateral, and for the "events" section on the venue's website.
